I have signed up for my busiest holiday season ever! I will be doing three markets:

First, tomorrow I will be joining Brooklyn Holiday Bazaar again at 501 Union in Gowanus. The venue is gorgeous and the market last year was really fun. I will also have the largest inventory ever with me at this market! I will be selling at the December 1 market only.

Next, I will be selling at the New York Handmade Collective‘s annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade. This will be my seventh year selling at this market!!

Finally, I will be selling at the Queens Craft Brigade for their final holiday market! I live in Queens and I’ll have some new Queens themed products.

I will be joining the Queens Craft Brigade again for the Halloween market! There will be a costume contest for humans and pets, and lots of spooky merchandise.

I will be joining the Queens Craft Brigade again on Sunday July 14, from 12-5PM at the VFW Hall, 31-35 41st St in Astoria. This will be the market’s second anniversary so they are planning some special bonuses to celebrate!

I’ve also made some changes to my Etsy site. I have changed the shop name to kotoembroidery, to match this web domain and my Instagram handle. The Etsy shop is back online, and I’m working on posting all of my regular product lines. So far I’ve re-photographed and edited the listings for the regular notebooks and 5″ x 7″ artworks, and I’m currently working on re-photographing the 8″ x 10″ artworks and mini-notebooks. Once all that’s complete I will work on re-doing this website, with special focus on the portfolio.

Just a short update to let you know that the shop is temporarily closed while I work on updating photography and my listings, as well as streamline my product lines.

My plan is to list my bestsellers on Etsy (and possibly some more niche original fine art) and then at in-person markets I will try out new products and experimental work. I’ll announce here when I relaunch. Thanks for your support!

I am very excited to return with the Queens Craft Brigade on April 7, from 12-5PM at VFW Hall in Astoria. This is their first market of 2019, and they always pull in a great crowd and cool vendors. Hope you can make it!

My last market this year will be with the New York Handmade Collective at our annual Holiday Handmade Cavalcade. There are multiple events spread over November and December, but you can find me at the Brooklyn Historical Society on December 15-16, 11AM-6PM. The first shoppers will receive goody bags and all customers receive a raffle ticket with purchase.

I’m very happy to announce that I will be selling at the Queens Craft Brigade on Sunday, October 14, from 12-5PM at the VFW Hall (31-35 41st St in Astoria). The Queens Craft Brigade is organized by a small group of dedicated, independent Queens vendors and I am excited to finally be joining these folks! The market will be Halloween themed (duh) with a Tarot reader and a costume contest. Hope you can join us!

I’ll be selling at Ready, Set, Summer! at the Grand Bazaar on Sunday, May 21, from 10AM-5:30PM. Grand Bazaar is a market that’s been around awhile, right near the Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side, but they have recently pivoted to offering more curated handmade wares. They have teamed up with the New York Handmade Collective (formerly the Etsy New York Team) and our group’s vendors will be featured in a special section of Grand Bazaar. Hope to see you there!
